Established in 2025 to mark Lowe & Co Realty’s 10th anniversary, the Lowe & Co Foundation is the charitable arm of our business — created to formalise our commitment to the Wellington community we are proud to serve.

While Lowe & Co has always supported local causes — including our long-standing partnership with the Wellington City Mission — the Foundation was born from the belief that each of us plays a role in creating the kind of community we want to live in.
Our Commission Goes to the Mission
For every home sold by Lowe & Co Realty, a portion of the commission is donated to the Lowe & Co Foundation. These funds directly support local initiatives that align with our mission of lifting people through property.

One of our cornerstone partnerships is with the Wellington City Mission. Whakamaru — a visionary project led by Murray Edridge and his team that opened in 2024, provides transitional housing and wraparound social services, along with Craig and Gail’s Café, a welcoming, inclusive hub where people can come together without judgement. It is a special place that represents the kind of city we believe in.
Community
Beyond our work with the Mission, Lowe & Co and its agents support dozens of local causes every year — sponsoring events, donating prizes, fundraising, advertising, and getting involved with community groups and projects across Wellington.

Through the Foundation, we will continue this tradition in a focused and sustainable way — ensuring that our philanthropic efforts are meaningful, impactful, and grounded in our core belief: that through property, we can lift people, strengthen communities, and help build a better Wellington.
